Cabrera is 5-0 with a 2.21 earned run average in eight career starts against the Royals. Baltimore has won all eight games Cabrera has started against the Royals.
Meche was roughed up for five runs, four earned, on nine hits and two walks, while striking out none.
“He (Cabrera) found his groove and I didn’t,” Meche said. “That’s pretty much the story of the game. I struggled.
